The Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (ESHTE) will join the STRETCH Project in 2025, which international week will be held in Breda.
Certified by the World Tourism Organisation (WTO), ESHTE stands out for its solid theoretical framework and practical teaching closely linked to the industry of Tourism and Hospitality. This approach allows students to face professional challenges in a guided manner, interacting with both companies and public institutions. Therefore, joining this project will be the natural continuation of meaningful educational experiences.
As part of the STRETCH project, ESHTE will integrate the Leisure Management and Tourism Entertainment degree, whose DNA is marked by the development of skills for the fields of tourism entertainment and events management. This will be a unique opportunity for students. Usually, similar projects are only undertaken by final-year students in Portugal, while this time the project takes place in an international field. It will promote the exchange of expertise, the opportunity to work in another language, interaction with different cultures and the production of an event in a foreign country, preparing students for a globalised professional landscape.
The Portuguese team involved in the project, consisting of Tiago Lopes, Susana Filipa Gonçalves, Verónica Dias, and Ana Gonçalves (from left to right), is enthusiastic and fully committed to contributing to the success of STRETCH.
